Does anyone have Nitrous Oxide in their IS and if so what model and where did you buy it. Some pictures would be cool to, and if it is a good idea to put it in a with a stock engine. thanks in advance.

Working on it. Also waiting for parts. But it's coming. You need to use a wet system. I'm going with 50hp to start, and will take it from there. (I don't think it could get more than 75 hp, in stock form)

Look at the following websites

http://www.toyomoto.com
http://www.dynamicturbo.com

I suggest you call them and they will tell you what to do. And how much $$

Good Luck

Well it's not about "living a 1/4 mile @ a time". That's only in the movies. I want it because I've had nitrous in many cars before. I love the fact that I know I have a little something under my sleeve. Nitrous is something I use in "emergency situations". Think about it, I was in my friend's GS300 with exhaust, filter, other minor mods, and Nitrous. A GS430 with exhaust, and filter showed up. Cocky little guy, talking sh-t. Well we usually try to stay on the down low. But he got to us. It was a beautiful feeling beating this cocky guy, who thought he had the advantage. (We didn't only beat him, we pulled away from him)

So I like to keep my options open.

Well I installed the NOS. The car runs great! And it's only a 50 shot. (we're experimenting) Lance says the car is running really good for a 50 shot. He did a great job on the install. Everything very clean and like always I was NOT disappointed. Will let you know how the 75 shot goes.

I LOVE IT!

Thumbs up

I have had NOS on my IS300 since Nov. and i could not be happier. I had a mech. friend install the NOS System and it works great. I posted last Dec. my results for test and tune at Moroso Speedway in West Palm Florida.
A quick note:
Stock times were as follows:
All runs were with Track off, PWR on, manual shifts
1st Run
Outside Temp:85
Tire Pressure:28psi
Launch RPM:2500
60':2.357
1/8:10.294
1/4:15.893
MPH:86.23

2nd Run
Outside Temp:85
Tire Pressure:25psi
Launch RPM:2500
60':2.328
1/8:10.234
1/4:15.803
MPH:86.68

3rd Run
Outside Temp:85
Tire Pressure:23psi
Launch RPM:2500
60':2.333
1/8:10.219
1/4:15.817
MPH:86.72

W/NOS. W/Track off, PWR on, maual shifts. I used the NOS after launch.
50shot NOS

1st Run
Outside Temp:85
Tire Pressure:25psi
Launch RPM:2500
60':2.282
1/8:9.615
1/4:14.786
MPH:95.17

2nd Run
Outside Temp:85
Tire Pressure:25psi
Launch RPM:2500
60':2.304

1/4:14.819
MPH:96.43

3rd Run
Outside Temp:85
Tire Pressure:25psi
Launch RPM:2500
60':2.230
1/8:9.449
1/4:14.723
MPH:90.33 *

let go of the NOS at the end by mistake.

I used the RM intake but lost tons of lowend so i sent it back. If anyone wants pics, email me and i will send them to you. Call me if you want to talk about some tricks that will save you time and headaches when installingyour NOS. 954-868-9953 Roland

Roland: What else do you have on the car? Intake/exhaust? What about Apex S-AFC? And have you gone to a bigger shot? The reason for my questions are, I have all of the above and I'm trying to compare. Also did you use a dry or wet system. For what I hear wet is the safe way to go.

P.S. Did you get alot of wheelspin of the line? (@morosso) I've been wanting to go, but I hate the attitude those people have.

haveboost,
i only ran the car stock and then added a RMM intake with slowed the car from a best of 15.80 to 16.29. The lowend was horrible, but i picked up MPH. Stock my best MPH was 86.72 and w/RMM intake it went to 87.04.

I took off the RMM intake and went back to the stock one. This is all thats done to the car. I bought a Mercedes CLK 430 and have been driving it since Feb. So the IS300 has been sitting around ignored. I just saw the movie "The fast and the Furious" and it got my jucies flowing again to get some work done on the IS.

I used a wet system and a 50hp shot. This combination worked best. I also tried a 75hp and 100shot and this did not work as it fell on its face due to not enought fuel.

I was wondering how you ran your fuel for the NOS? Did you use a stand alone system or piggyback off the main fuel line?

Have you experienced and fall flat while spraying?
How has the performance of the upgrades you did work on the car prior to NOS?

I like Moroso and i am thinking of going back soon..lets get together and go up on the same night.

I don't understand what you mean by "fall flat while spraying". My car runs great while spraying, I'm going to upgrade soon to the 75. Did you feel the problem @50 shot or 75 shot?

Let me know when you wanna go I might take a trip down there. It's an hour an a half drive for me, and as stated before I've had really sh-ty attitudes from those people.

BTW, are you still spraying? if so how much. You have me concerned by the statement above. I'm doing everything with patience and so far so good. But I will continue testing the 50 and in about a week if everything is well, then I will upgrade

The Apexi S-AFC worked wonders for me, maybe the combination of the filter with the apex will give you good results. I have not noticed a drop in HP when I installed the Injen, But I will like to aquire a heat shield.

TMR promised a heat shield, I committed but I have not heard a word from him. (TMR if you are out there please advice if heat shields will be available) If he doesn't want to sell them, I will have one made. I think this will help with the performance. I can't touch the intake after driving the car. It's extremely hot. I'm sure this defenitely affects performance.
