I have a 12 inch solo baric and a amp from my previous ride.

I want to add the sub and amp to the stock unit.

I dont know much about the stock unit, is there a way to get rca outs? Or do i have to use a line output converter ?


if i use a line output converter am i shooting myself in the foot??

I heard that someone took pics of the oem stereo and posted them on is300.net, but the site is down, or unreachable. does anyone have experience with taking the oem radio out, and knowing more about it?

any suggestion will be appreciated.

That would be from the service manual that I just happened to have (long story involving my dealer and their remote start system which I removed and installed my own.) Printed in Japan too.

can you give me some more info on your remote start experience...I am thinking of getting one but I have questions about the config. Do you have to carry around another remote box on your keychain or are they able to access it through your key? What type do you have/recommend?
