Has anyone tried to remove the OEM emblems at the back of their cars? I was looking at it and it seems like that it is only held by a sticky back and no pegs. I want to remove all of it and install something original. Thanks in advance for any response.

All the emblems on your trunk are adhesive. There are no posts on any of them. I took mine off with dental floss.

That's good! How did yours come off? Any sticky residue left? Did you use googone (or something like that) to remove the sticky residue? Thanks again!

When i cut through with the dental floss i made sure to cut through the adhesive.... never touching the floss to the paint. Once the Emblem is off I just rolled the adhesive off with my finger. Waxed it a little bit and you couldnt even tell there was a badge ever there

Alright! Now I'm really excited to take my emblems off. Thanks again. See you on the road and keep the rubber side of the car on the road.

Heating adhesive w/ a hair dryer may help.
If you have any type of stickers you want to remove, that's the way to go. Emblems should be the same way.
Just don't overheat the paint.
