hi all, new guy here just wanted to share a picture and get ur opinion.
so really, what do you think? one of my little hobbies..to get rid of the crap orange Lexus though was cool!
with a couple of minor adjustments should be ok.....? wish i knew how to use the digital camera though, cant get the true blue as if you were actually standing in front of it.
Originally posted by b1gredek very nice but it might be a little too bright to drive everyday
actually I made sure it wasnt too bright. this is my second gauge light i have done, and yes I know exactly what you mean about being to bright! my first gauge mod was so bright it would light the whole cabin blue. it was kinda cool to show ur friends but for evening everyday driving definitely no! but still it was better than that nasty orange/yellow.....argh!!
for the gentleman who asked about my location, I'm in Los Angeles and this one took me about 2 weeks; thats putting in about an hour a day. but now that I know what to do, one days work (8 hours). gotta understand, theres two colors of LEDs in the gauge cluster.
if you think that blue looks nice in the picture, boy you should see what it looks like in person. its actually a much darker blue(royal). cant seem to capture the brillant colors with a digital camera. oh and yes it is dimable.
Im starting to work on my third gauge lights. oh yeah just recieve my spare gauge cluster last week. ]if you guys had to pick two colors for the IS300 gauge cluster, what would they be?
