I'm reading about the IS 430 with a V8 engine and I've seen the turbo systems that are offered for the IS 300 and then some of you have done the swap with the 2jz-gte. I'm wondering which one would you guy’s prefer?

Price: (I could be wrong)
V8 =?
Turbo = 10k
2jz-gte = 25k

We don't know if Lexus will ever bring out the IS 430, a car with *****. I want to get over that 300+ hp range, we need to move up in the market and stop being left behind!

 

Preferably, i'd rather have the G head engines for performance. You can only do so much with a F head toyota V engine. Hence, I prefer the 2JZ block over the 3UZ block for performance building. Stronger bottom end with the cast iron 2JZ.
