I need your opinion guys. my 2jzgte gave up and and i was wondering if it's worth rebuilding it or just buy another 2jzgte. My motor suffered from oil starvation so rebuilding it is not going to be cheap. Or just do a 5.7 tundra swap or Ls1? So what do you guys say? thanks

Rebuild a bulletproof one 2JZ.

 

LS1 is an american engine, right? I would buy another 2jzgte, i believe a member here is sellin his for 2800. Check the classifieds. Good luck

i would rebuild. Its not cheep but you will have a brand new engine. Thats better imo then buying another engine in unknown condition.

 

...or you can get a GE block and build it with GTE or aftermarket goodies for a fraction of the price.
