About 90% of the time when I charge my nx 450h+ to 100% all car doors (not just the charging port) automatically unlock a few minutes after charging is complete. The dealership tried to replicate the problem but was unable to. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem or found a solution.

 

Interesting. I am not sure it happens or not since I'm never beside it when it completes charging and I think my setting is to keep the charging port locked even after charging is complete.

 

I only know this because I receive a notification via my Lexus app on my phone.

Could it be a bug with the app notification?

 

Doesn’t seem to be because when I heck the car it is indeed unlocked :-(

 

What setting do you have on your infotainment screen? Does the charger port continue to be locked or it's set to auto unlock after full charge?

 

Sorry for the delayed reply. I’ve been trying various setting - it was originally on off, I’ve tried auto lock, and Auto lock unlock. Under any of those setting my doors still unlock when charging reaches 100%.

 

Interesting cos the dealer was not able to replicate it, but you can replicate it at home. maybe you should record a video and show what happens when it finishes recording so that you can show it to the dealer and have it escalated. make sure after it unlocks you show what settings you have in the infotainment screen.

 

On My NX Plugin that issue is not happening.
Besides doors self cose just after unpluging tipe 2 cable.

​​Sometimes I do receive a notificaton that car is open via LL App.

I think that car SW has quite a number of bugs connected to the user profile unlink, with missing syncronisation and poor DCM module installed.

That is a matte of fact during all past 9 months!

 

Was this issue ever resolved by Lexus? I just bought a 2026 NX450h+ and had the same issue, then the “connector lock” menu item disappeared the next day, the car unlocked itself, and we’re no longer getting alerts for door locked/unlocked.
