2013 RX450h performance issues - Hybrid battery
I own 2013 450h, recently completed 8 years, doing regular servicing at the Dealership. The performance of my car had deteriorated significantly over last 1-2 years, I have to literally step on gas big time to get my car going when waiting at traffic light, Situation is getting worst every day, when there is small steep road I have to put car in Overdrive mode to keep 40-50 miles per hour speed, complained to Lexus of Fremont few times but did not get any solutions so I would suggest do your homework before buying Hybrid. My car has 86,000 miles on it. Any suggestions, thanks.
Is it battery loses the performance ? Do I need to replace the hybrid battery.

Dealer should have completed a battery load test. Did they do any kind of diagnostics?
You may need to find another dealer. I would think the onboard computer has measurements for battery health that a service department can read.

Just reading through you first post again. The battery may in fact be fine, and this could be something like an issue with the air/fuel mixture going to the engine.
In either case, I would think the car would be throwing indicator fault lights given the severity of the issue.

1. air filter
2. general tune up
3. no one "load tests" hybrid batteries. You need BT dongle and something like Dr Prius or Torque to check on battery cells state of charge. Someone here posted before, how to. Use Search feature.

FYI there is an independent chain of hybrid shops if you want another opinion: https://www.thehybridshop.com/
Your battery should still be under warranty.

This sounds like an engine tune-up rather than dying traction battery. Even with a weak traction battery, your performance should be much higher. Have a mechanic take a good look at the computer data, it sounds like a sensor or tune up issue likes plugs, filter, carbon buildup, etc.
