Recommend Hybrid System Scan Tool
I have the ODBLink MX+ unit, probably one of the higher end bluetooth based units, many others are less expensive. I haven't used it to do any serious diagnostic on the RX450h yet thankfully, but I did note that when I plugged it in, the app then told me I could download specific data file to read codes specific for this vehicle. So far I've only briefly reviewed all the possible things I could scan, there is a lot of them. Its also compatible with most 3rd party apps.
I like that you can leave it plugged in (goes to sleep when car is off) and use it all the time for apps that provide real time data while driving without having to plug in and remove each trip. That part seems to work fine. I haven't had a dead battery yet from leaving it plugged in for a few days, and my 12V is now ~11 years old so it probably does not have much juice to spare at this point.

I tried Carista and Dr.Prius. Both do not provide detailed INF or sub codes. So I only know it is POAA6 which is a Hybrid system voltage isolation fault. The sub code would tell me where in the system the fault is, but I can't seem to find which code read will be able to reader the sub code other than TechStream.
