Default C63 vs GS450H

Hey everyone. I currently have a 09 c63 amg but would like to get back into a Lexus specifically the 13-15 gs450h.

A 2013 with the color combo and all the options I wanted popped up in a local dealership.

What are your thoughts on the two. Would you keep the c63 or make the switch.

Better question to ask yourself is why aren't you happy with the c63 and is the GS450H going to fill that gap

No one can really answer this question for you but, IMO, you're gonna lose some fun.

The Benz will always have "snob appeal" no matter what year you have. But if you just want to drop something "older" for something "newer" and still look like you make money, go for it.

Keep C63 if your financial situation let you do it...fun car to drive but repairs... but as said above, nobody can make a decision for you!

Have you had your head bolt issue taken care of on your C63? If not, better dump it quick before you receive the 30k rebuild bill.

I would keep the AMG if it still has a warranty

Head bolt issue has not been taken care of, i asked my service advisor and the response was canadian models aren't affected. I don't believe that at all though.

The benz has no warranty and its at 75,000 KM on it which is 46,000 miles for you others on the imperial system.

I went from a LS600HL to the C63 AMG, I love driving the amg but I definitely don't enjoy the harsh ride. I've always liked the styling of the 4gs and its pretty decent in a straight line.

only problem is everytime i drive the benz it makes me wants to keep it.

No warranty Benz = run for the hills. You just made that decision very easy.

Hahaha, I'll keep that one. It's like the Bose phrase. No high highs, no low lows, must be Bose.

C63 sounds like a lot more fun to me if you can tolerate the harsh ride and repair/maintenance bills. Love my GS350 though...

I love the GS but there's a thing abt the German cars specially Bmw which the Lexus don't have but I don't mind the extra time I have on hand.
