Yes, I have the same problem with my 2013 RX450h. It's the single problem I have with the vehicle since delivery. We both just need to make an appointment with Lexus Service to have it repaired -- no big deal. As a matter of fact, it's on my to-do list for this morning.

I have to take it all back, as I had a big red face yesterday morning after taking my Lexus in to have this solved. Ended up being the quarters occasionally chattering in the new 2013 felt-lined coin slot on top of the console by the seat vent/heat controls. I thought I had lined a bunch of quarters up as tight as they would go in there, but no, I didn't. My simple solution: No more quarters in my quarter holder.
The Lexus folks were more than kind through my apologies, saying it's all part of customer service. No charge. I even had a cappuccino made for me in a fancy white cup while I waited in an over-stuffed chair watching ESPN on a 60" screen, until my self-imposed shameful departure. So, my 2013 RX450h had no glove box rattle and remains perfect since delivery 5 weeks ago.
I thought someone would appreciate some part of that post. Reality is, Lexus could fix this in the next gen -- and you'd be ahead of me then -- by putting in one of those old-style compression springs to push the quarters together. Remember the old plastic coin thingys that held pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters with the springs in one end of each chamber ...or am I dating myself too much?
i am positive it's my glovebox.....
when it rattles i reach over and hold the glovebox and the rattle stops......
tedious....
that was how i figured out my GS350 had that problem.....
Well hate to say this but: I have both the felt lined coin holder and tray as well as the lined box in the hole that goes to the center of the universe under the armrest.... AND a sunglass holder. PFFFTTT
