Averaging 25 MPG with the staggered 20" Vossen's..
So I was slightly concerned that MPG would suffer some since I now have the 20" CV3s. Specs
245/35/20-20x9-27 lbs
275/30/20-20x10.5-28 lbs
They are clearly wider than the stock
245/40/18-18x8-??lbs
wheels. I've now had them on for 3 months and for the past few weeks I'm averaging 25.2 MPG. This is around 35/65 city/hwy driving. This is right around where I average when I drive the car at the speed limit and don't act like a hooligan. So in the future I will definitely upgrade wheels/tires in regards to hybrids.
Just wanted to give people an update who are concerned about negative effects of MPG in regards to upgrading rims/tires.
I do think city driving might be lower but I'm not sure as I think it was also some crappy gas from some local gas stations I now avoid. Saw some 19/20 MPG figures with 90/10 City/Highwy driving. That has not returned luckily.
