Default 2006 RX400h Door Lock Assembly RIP

Help!
I'm a newbie so be gentle. I have a 2006 RX400h with a dead front driver side door lock assembly. I just had to change out both of them (not at the same time ) on my 2006 Solara SLE Convertible I have only been able to find references for the RX300. Here’s my questions
1 Any suggestion or tutorials on how to remove this door panel and replace the assembly?
2 Is there a cross reference to the same part from Toyota?
3 Where is the best place to buy the part? My local dealer wants $285.00
4 Has anyone else experienced this same problem?
I'm fairly mechanical and had no problems changing out the 2 in my Solara so replacement should be easy for me.

door panel has 2 screws holding it on, one under the little carpet where you pull the door closed, the other behind the handle you pull when you get out. once those are out, carefully pry the door panel out starting at the bottom, once the clips are all loose, push the panel up and unhook wiring, done.

i would buy the part from the dealer, if you can get aftermarket, its probably poor build and may not fit, not to mention you dont want to be going back in there. i would bite the bullet and order the one from the dealer. normally if you ask for 5-10 percent off they will do it.

Thanks for the info
It looks like I can buy the assembly from a few Lexus dealers on line for about $200.00. I think I'll do that and save $85.00.
