My 450h is about 2 weeks old and so far I love it. I never thought I'd like it better than my 04 RX330, but I do. Anyway, my question is this. My tailgate
opens with the transmitter but not with the button on the dash. The on/off switch in the glove compartment is on. When I push the dash button it beeps twice and doesn't do anything. Is there a setting in the setup that I'm missing?

 

Yes (probably). I found the same thing. The problem is the dash button will not work unless you unlock 'all' of the doors 1st. There is some kind of fail safe built into that. In other words, if only the drivers door is unlocked, the button will not function.

 

I see. Thanks! Now that I think back on it, my RX330 had to have all the doors unlocked as well, but i just hit unlock twice on the key. I guess it will take me a little while to learn everything. Thanks for your help.

Haha... I found this when sending my car to the car wash in Week 1. Those guys washing the varied of cars everyday and night know better how to open the tailgate... I was like newbie out there.
