For getting into this service Menu.:

1.Lights swithced off.
2.Car on Park
3.Press and hold Display.
4.turn on parklight
5.then turn of parklight
6.Repeat step 4 and 5 a couple of time
And you are in the service menu.
Here you can check your rear camera and other stuff.


Still to find out how to turn on dvd while in motion.

I just tried this on an RX 400h here in the US, and it worked!! Of course, no Override button, but seeing the GPS info was cool.

 

hi all from greece. iam owner on a rx400h 2006 and from past week my screen going crazy. flases blinking not respone to the butons and finally bring me a new menu:trip iformation i try to post photo.any idea what is going on?

You need to use the headlight trick to get back into the second level of the service menu.

Change the vehicle type until it says "900N4WD" (you will want to do "900N2WD" if you have the 2WD RX Hybrid) then press set and exit the menu.

Everything should be back to normal. Never go into that menu again! It is evil!

I am not sure what you mean by blinking. Maybe take another video of the blinking you are referring to?

dear jakenbade when i start the car after 2-3 minutes begins all this.this is all about for about 10-15 minutes.after all this is like new car.!!!!!! any suggentions??

 

all conections behind screen and radio cleaning with spray.it seems all ok with fuses and camples.!!!

 

I don't have an answer for that one. I think that will be something you will have to take it to the dealership for. Sorry.

MFD failure may be caused by spontaneous starting and shutting down the engine or cold junction in electronics ...
