Default LS600h - wow!!

Has anyone seen the latest commercial for the LS600h? That baby has 438hp. No zero to 60mph given, but that many horses has to get your heart pounding and you blood circulating. Of course, the price tag would probably do the same thing.

Ahhh yes.

That commercial is on YouTube, and has been regularly discussed on the LS Forum as well as Car Chat Forum.

0-60 mph: 5.5 seconds (because it's a 5700 lb. behemoth!!!)

Price tag: $104,000!!!

WOW !! That's the equivalent cost of getting a LS460L WITHOUT the executive package in Canada

& I think the LS600hL is more like closer to 5200 lb. ?

Are you adjusting for your less valued canadian dollars?

I have taken the currency exchange rate into consideration.
A loaded LS460L without the executive package is C$110,500 in Canada. With the exchange rate today at 0.9535, that's equivalent to US$105,361.75. You can get a LS600hL in the U.S. for that price. The US$ is so weak now . . .

If only for the warranty issue, this article suggests a large number of Canadians are now buying cars in the U.S....

Particularly Lexus and Scion!

Much harder I suppose would be getting an LS 600h from Europe or Japan over here.

Hello, the interior is beautiful, the stitching was flawless. it was a launch edition, the sticker said 120,000. What i liked about the test drive, everything, the car simply is breathtaking.

Hand-stitched as well in places!

Haha, I've driven alongside several LS 600h Ls but not actually sat in or driven in one.

It sucks to be in Florida (unless you're near JM Lexus).
