Well, just to clarify, I've seen LS 600h Ls being tested as part of a press tour, it was not dealership related. There are other California CL members who are still patiently waiting for info.

I know it's hard but "good things happen to those who wait" and hopefully "it's worth the wait."

 

Picked up from dealer 2 of 600h L Launch Edition on Tuesday!!! What an awesome car! Now I'm in the process of reading very thick manuals for all the features and gadgets in the car.

One thing I want to note right away: when sitting in the car you don't hear anything happening outside - total silence. Amazing!!! So far I love everything about this car! Hmm... ok... except for the trunk size.

Maybe it was buy one, get one free day at his dealership I am waiting to hear this morning if I get to pickup my car at Longo today. They got their first three Launch Edition cars two days ago. I'm number four on the Launch Edition list. If one of those people can't pick up their car by this morning, I get one.... Let's hope one of them is "unavailable".

 

Maybe two LS 600h Ls were delivered to the dealership at the same time; Dr. Computer mentions 3 arrived at Longo at the same time.

The first, U.S. ad is more of a 'aha!' teaser, the Japan ad is the grand reveal. Actually I think the second ad could easily be done over in English for the U.S.

 

The more we read about it the more the LS600 looks like a bad deal. No clear performance or gas mileage advantage over the 460, not powerful enough to compete with the German market, and too expensive. Lexus needs to redesign that car pronto to give it at least 100 more horsepower to make it the slam dunk they want it to be.
