Default Freaking Bluetooth driving me nuts....

Wife and I both have the same model motorolas, and her's has been linked for months. I go in and link mine, and it loses hers.

Is it only capable of linking to one bt phone?

Yes. System can store both phones in the system, but only one can active at one time. If you both get in the car with your phones, system should prompt you to pick which phone to be active.

Tried it again. Linked my phone to it first, worked fine. Made a call.

Turned my phone off, had to re-link hers. Worked, made a call.

Turned hers off, turned mine back on. No longer linked.

Nothing there. Went to phones, only option if I want to deselect is to disconnect one. That sucks. Both should connect.

do both of ur phones have the same name?....you mention that you two have the same phone...so by default they will have a factory name which will be same for both.....trying changing one.....then linking both and see what happens...

So the RX400h does have bluetooth? I'm in the market for one, but when I configure the car online it does not mention anything about bluetooth.

Managing multiple phones can be a bit of a pain in the neck. We have ours set to automatically connect the "main" phone....i.e. my wife's phone in her car and my phone in mine. Then you can manually connect the other phone when needed. What the system does not handle well is when one phone connects automatically but you actually want to use the other one. I've found only intermittent success when attempting this, oftentimes finding that only an ignition cycle will allow it.

The only way I can make it happen, even with two names, is that you must 'disconnect' the first one, in order to connect the second one. That stinks.
