Default Intermediate steering shaft rattle 2010 HS

I really like my HS, but it's developed a rattle from the u-joints in my intermediate steering shaft. Has anyone else experienced this? A search turned up nothing, at least on this site. The car has 100000 miles. I'm hoping Lexus will warranty the problem.

If they don't silicon spray fixed the noise on my ES330.

Thanks. Maybe I'll try that.

My CPO has the same problem, just had it replaced since it's covered by CPO warranty. The rattling is gone.

I know other models, such as the RX have had steering shaft issues, so it may be a brand problem with a component that may be similar in design in several different models. They had a rattle that resulted in replacement.
