Default Know issues with this model??

We are about to join the HS family. Guess I should have posted this sooner!! Being a happy Lexus owner when we saw this car and were able to buy it for trade-in value we jumped at it. Its a 2010 with 70,000 miles for $22k
Any known mechanical/electrical issues with this model?? The Toyota dealer we are buying it from says any recall issues have been addressed and the carfax is clean.

Other than some people having some issues with the regen braking system, no real problems. Even Consumer Reports rates it pretty reliable. It's a Toyota, after all !!!!

Default Issues?

The Airman said, it's a Toyota after all!
I've driven Toyotas for the last 16 years and never had any major issue.

Even the recalls were minor ones - nothing major and I'm pretty sure you can have that checked too with Lexus. Even if one was not done, Lexus will do it for free.

Im a Lexus parts specialist and i haven't seen very many problems at all with the HS. Its a well-put-together vehicle;-)

I only had one problem. The utility battery (not the Hybrid battery) died. It's a Gel battery and very expensive. It could not be jump started and the car had to be towed on a flatbed to the dealer, who had to special order the battery as they didn't have it in stock. Took a few days to get the car back. Another not major problem was the dividers that are in the windshield wiper well were very loose and would rattle at speed. Drove me crazy until i figured out what the problem was and got some superglue and glued them in place.

I'm assuming you mean the battery that all "normal" vehicles use?? I guess that battery powers the accessories like radio & lights.
Yeah I ran into those dividers while checking the brake fluid. Just a matter of time before they break. I'll try not to touch them in cold weather.
The only thing that has me concerned is the sealed transmission. No fluid changes and no adjustments?? Hope it lasts!!!
