Anyone out there got their all-season floor mat replacements yet? When I bought the car in November 2010, I was told they recalled all the all-season floor mats in the HS along with the ES recall due to the infamous "pedal" situation. It's part of my purchase agreement so I'm still waiting for them... was told they would be available in February at time of purchase, called a couple of dealerships last week and was told they haven't heard a thing from Lexus about the floor mat replacement...

 

A copy of a letter about floor mats which Lexus Canada sent in Nov./10 is available on the web at http://www.lexus.ca/enews/A_Message_EN.pdf. It makes no mention of a recall.

Maybe the situation is different in the US of A.

I'm in Toronto. My dealer (and I subsequently called another dealer to confirm the story) told me Lexus removed by the all-season (all-weather) floor mats from HS vehicles and are in the process of a "redesign". Do you have the rubber all season floor mats?

 

The rubber all season mats were in the car when I took delivery in mid-January of this year. There seems to be a contradiction between what Lexus Canada said in their November, 2010 letter (i.e., the mats are safe) and the info you are getting.

 

i asked my dealer last Oct, was told they're pending selling any of those, only selling all season floor mats in the trunk, and asked me to call back to check later. i did 2 months later, and was told, they'll never have that any more.

so i bought some generic brands, not too bad actually, and a lot cheaper~
