Do you by chance have a write up on how to disassemble the unit? The amount of screws and brackets are super intimidating lol! I might buy a jacked up on on eBay and play around with it.
Sorry, I don't. I disassembled it to find the screen model number, and then put it back together. It still works. So I order the screen, and then do the second surgery.
You should just fix your current one. Take lots of pictures along the way. And only order the spare when something goes wrong on the process.
Good luck! Let me know when help needed.

So the OEM screen is 7" wide but the Toshiba LTA080B0Y4F is 8 " wide. How did the Toshiba screen fit properly?
Don't think used one would be a good idea. .
You can buy new screen from ebay or Aliexpress for $120~140. Toshiba LTA080B0Y4F 8" LCD Display.
Follow the above youtube video to remove air vent, and then remove the plastic speaker vent behind navigation screen by carefully pull it upward. Now the navigation screen unit can be remove.
Take your time to study the assembly and to note what you take apart. Lots of screws. You can have brand new and bright screen in about 1 hours.
I also make a cover (used IS200 cluster cover) for the screen to keep it cool all the time.
Thanks for the post. Question: The screen you used as replacement is 8 inches wide. The original screen is only 7 inches wide. How did you make the new screen fit?

Ok. That makes sense. I went ahead and ordered a replacement screen as you did from AliExpress. Once it gets here and I replace it I will post the results. Thanks for your reply.
I saw the PDF. Thanks Doug, I just like some pictures the drawings are low resolution, but I have a neighbor who is a mechanic and we may tackle this one day.
Please do show that and let us know how you did it.
So I purchased a replacement screen from Ali Express. It was $110. It did take 4 weeks to get delivered. Installation was fairly easy. The hardest part was keeping tabs on where the screws came out off. I took lots of photos before removing them. The video provided was good to show how to remove panels only. There is no need to remove the radio. The display unit is held by just two bolts. It took me about 2 hours to complete. It was well worth the effort. Thank you Doug for your recommendation!!. Below are the before and after photos. Before replacement Before replacement Before replacement Before replacement After replacement. As if new. After replacement. After replacement. Great job. Thank you for posting!! The screen looks fantastic. I saw the PDF - the number of screws and like you said, "TAKE PLENTY OF PICTURES" otherwise you will never reverse engineer unless you are Tony Stark. Inspired me to tackle this next month.
