Default Heated/Cooling seat controls not responding

Hi All, first post here. I have a 2013 Base model with the ventilated seats. I've read through the threads and am well aware of how barely adequate they are but they do help (especially in my black interior in the summer!). Anyway, they were fine, then they stopped working. The little lights aren't on, but the driver's seat is still blowing out cool air whether i put it on heat or turn the **** to off. The passenger side is off and also no light, no response. Is there a fuse for the actual controls? PS- my heat/AC and fan controls work just fine in the vents. Issues are only on the seats. Thanks in advance for any input!

If everything else works, the first thing to check would be the connection to the switch behind center console panel.

I haven't looked but wonder if more AC air is directed to floor as one turns up the seat ventilators so they can pick up cooler air for the seats?

I don’t think so as I have never noticed the AC switching to the foot area and I have used the seat fan for years.

Supposedly all they do is blow the “cooler” air underneath the seats, since cold air sinks. Can’t remember where I saw how it works, but it’s not blowing the cool A/C air through them.

Might be something to try for improving the cooling.

Yes.. they are called ventilated seats for a reason. They utilize the cooled air in the foot well area.

Overall happy with them but everything can be improved. Might try the diverter mod of directing under-seat air upward.

I also plan to test whether one keeps on 3 zone, cranks the rear zone down to lowest temp setting and then keeps the vent setting to floor for rear zones if it will increase cool air being introduced to the seat ventilators under seat.

Is it possible on a 2010 RX to replace the ventilated seat fan with a stronger one from the new RX's? Or is there an aftermarket option?
