Where is the Pre-collision button? (update: found)
I just picked up my U.S. GX 460 premium with the wide-view pre-collision and driver attention monitor and I cannot find the button for the pre-collision.
The manual shows it in a position that looks like it is under the steering wheel. Does anyone know where this switch is? This might be one of those Canadian options that we do not get. If so why offer it on the car. Can someone help me with this? If you can could some one post a picture also?
I check again on the lower console at the knee airbag and ther is no button. I looked on the steering wheel and all around the column and there is no switch. Can someone tell me if they have ordered the same package also and have the switch.
After running my hand under the dashboard again I found a button. The Pre-collision button is under the dash in front of the brake pedal. Anyone can miss it because you actually have to lie on the mat and look up under the dash to see the small button. I did notice that the PCS light was illuminated in the console after I pushed the button. The manual has a very poor representation of where the button is located at. The first picture is the manual's picture. The second picture shows me pointing toward the area under the dashboard in front of the brake pedal. And the next picture is the PCS button. I think that Lexus should have put the button in a more conspicous location.
If anyone else had ordered the PCS options please can you let me know if it had worked for you while driving.?
