I don't use CC but I thought if you used brakes or the accelerator this disables CC. This has been my experience in the past when used on other vehicles. CC is based on speed so I don't see how this would cause any device to not function? Again I don't use CC on the 460 so correct me if wrong please.
Brakes will cancel CC but using the accelerator will not.
I use CC any chance I get. Will not use it if terrain is severely undulating, as Lexus’ cruise is horrid keeping a steady speed unless grades are gentle/steady.

The acceleration applied by the ECU while in CC does not go through the accelerator pedal, nor any aftermarket device like the PC. So you get the same muted acceleration in CC, and hard downshifts/high revs as usual.
I don’t know this brand but ive had a Apexi throttle control on my GX460 now for over a year now & I love it!!!
I first had 1 on my old beater RX350 just seeing what it could do, noticed a interesting difference, then put in my GSF & definitely notified way more throttle respond from Sport to Eco modes which gave me better gas mileage, so I once I traded in my RX & bought another GX I took the Apexi from the RX, changed the adapter harness & presto installed in the GX & oh baby it performs just as great!!! Way better gas mileage in Eco, & extremely responsive in Sport mode. I never drive without it on in either vehicle!!!

Interesting. I was originally going to go with something like this before I found the OV Tune for my Tacoma. I really like it. I wish I could find something like it for the GX.
Almost a year later and I’m 110% satisfied with my Pedal Commander in City +1. It’s the right amount of throttle response from a stop and doing some light accelerating around town. My MPG have not suffered once I stopped playing with it. While it isn’t as spirited as my 470 was it is a huge positive difference. I cannot imagine driving a 4Runner with a V6 and this much weight with this slow or a factory throttle response...
Got the beatsonic shiftpower throttle controller for our two GX's (08 and 18). They really change how the vehicles respond. Awaking the V8 engine, it's like driving a new car.

Had mine set to City +1, but it was too jumpy at initial start. Reset down one to City and now it’s just right for me.
I’ll check to see if it has any effect on MPG’s (I doubt it).
