Off-roading is hot these days, and now even Lexus is getting in on the action. Well, sort of.

 

This baby looks awesome! Wow! I don't know how many of these they'd sell, but I do love the concept...

You can also see the 2020 GX in the video, both interior and exterior. I'm definitely holding out for the face-lift, I think it looks great. Only thing he said that I'm a little iffy on is how the air suspension comes standard, but we'll see if that's true later on, I guess.

 

AVS and RAHC won’t be standard

2020 model in TFL was not equipped either. That was same DAC and 4H/4L switchgear from current base and premium model with fixed suspension

Lexus GXOR makes the most of its Land Cruiser roots.

 

apartment on wheels. has a fridge, stove, solar panel, two way radio, etc. and a nice trailer full of stuff.

 

That’s a pretty cool idea for the front bumper insert with winch. Looks similar to the 5th gen 4Runner center bumper inserts.

Too bad bad it won’t help with the approach angle at all.

 

I think this is interesting to look at with the rumor that Toyota might kill the Land Cruiser circulating this week...

 

looks great except for the stupid snorkel

 

I think it actually looks pretty cool. Up here in the PNW, I see all kinds of off-road rigs sporting these, and I get a kick out of it. Ha ha!

 

Though that snorkel would look really cool if the GX it was attached to was fording a glacial river in Iceland with water covering the hood.

As if we didn't want a Lexus GXOR bad enough before, now a first drive review confirms our desires.

 

All this new attention for the GX is going to help out my resale value but the issue is I plan on replacing my '10 with a newer GX when I sell.

 

Why bother replacing it then? I would wait until fully redesign GX comes on the market.
