I guess my attempt at humor fell flat...

 

Can someone explain what is the point of installing the spare tire on the barn door? Is the space below the GX (where spare tire suppose to be) utilized for something else?

 

To keep the spare from getting shredded by rocks.

 

...and often to install a larger gas tank - or if the car is using oversized tires that don't fit "down under"...

...as well as showing off the whitewalls....
