Here is the part number for the Lexus product, its a tube with a brush and pen tip and works decent: https://www.mylparts.com/oem-parts/l...l-00258001h921

I'm not sure what you are trying to repair so your results may vary. Good luck.

Same here but looks like it is a “pearl” paint and I searched the site with no results. There is no true match with this painting process. OEM should match best but the Dr ColorChip is easier to apply in thin coats.

I see it referenced as Mercury Gray/Nebula Gray Pearl with a paint code of 1H9 as well

Thx all. Any recommendation for the clear coat? I visited dealer today and told clear coat is bundled with white only... searched on eBay. Is 00c the correct code for clear coat? Or any other aftermarket products that work really well based on your experience?

will try to stick with OEM as much as possible but let’s see.

I would just use the OEM single stage one and not add an additional clear coat. Sometimes different types/brands of paint can have a negative reaction with each other.

I've used the Lexus brand paint and have had good results with it on previous cars.

I've updated touch up paint part numbers here. You should be able to find from online parts dealers like Bell Lexus, OEM Vehicle Parts, etc.

Near the top - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...t-numbers.html

So I want to attempt to repair some rock damage; My GX is Starfire pearl; I see the OEM touch up pens come in base coat, color, and clear coat...from the above discussions it seems like the color paint might already have clear coat in it?
