Done few research on that and tried few things in the past, finally found this little add-on while I was traveling in China for business. It works! Also come with few extra functions such as windows up doing locking, auto door locks after parking (optional. default setting is disabled), flash lights when door opens, etc.

woohoo! you're the man! please share the vids and how to get the module here in the States! auto-fold is one of the feature that I really want.

 

I know the mirrors power fold on mine, but is there a way to get them to fold when I lock the car. Or is this the device that makes it do that. I have a 2018 if that makes a difference.

While we are waiting for hzhao to give us more info on which unit he got and if it's plug and play, I got some words back from the seller through my friend regarding the model below

It plugs into ODB, it has another wiring module that run from the unit to the side mirror control on the left of the steering wheel. You unplug the module for the mirror control, plug this wire into that, then plug the original module into another connector on the wire - just like an inline connector.

Here's an unit for the RX - different then GX but it has a video showing the installation which I think will be similar.
