I also found a link on ebay for the land cruiser
https://www.ebay.com/itm/for-10-15-L...-/121905301890

Also here's a better picture of the modules and inline connectors for a Lexus CT200 but it should be similar
I have tried those in-line one before, it just didn't work.

The videos work! Pretty cool with the lights flashing too.

How do you turn on/off features? Are there dip switches?

All the features are "On" except one was "off", which is auto locking doors after 60 sec. when turn off the ignition. The reason is to prevent accidental lock out. There is the instruction to turn it on by a sequence press of door lock switch and start button. It's written in Chinese and I didn't really need that feature anyway. There are no other info for how to turn off any other features. following are listed feature:

1. Windows up/down with remote

2. doors auto lock and relock when speed over 10km/h (this feature can also be set from "car setting" on screen

3. Unlock doors when stop engine (this is also customizable under car setting)

4. When engine is running, if any door opens, hazard lights will flash twice, a nice safety feature

5. Auto lock all the doors after engine turned off 60 seconds. Default is disabled to prevent lockout. (Now with smart key sensor, not sure if the concern is necessary)

6. Auto mirro folding

Here's the link to the item that Hzhao bought. Your family from HK can probably get it and ship over.

So this is different from the inline one you mentioned. This one just plug into the OBD port and no other wiring or module involved? I suppose you unplug it before going to the dealer so they can plug their techstream onto the car for diagnostics? And you plug this module back in after leaving the dealer?

Hzhao mentioned that he tried the one with wire module and it didn't work well. My friend also confirmed with the seller of the standalone ODB unit that it would work with GX460 and that is what recommended. I guess the wire module is for GX400/460 or similar Lexus in a different market?
Yeah, you can can unplug it before taking it to the dealer just like wireless ODB II device which I'm currently using.
