Do you know any part provider that sales CC switch with reasonable price?

Did Carmarka say they couldn't get it?

They seem to be the cheapest of sites now that others have purchased from outside of US. Delivery times can long and tracking kind of spotty if you want to go that route.

I originally bought from Megazip.net at probably the cheapest price but that quickly turned to be a cold lead.

Carmarka is also a cold lead now

Not sure anyone tried any provider from China(they have both Prado & GX)?

Most Lexus dealers probably WILL NOT do the service due to liability issue when modification involves "out of spec" for the vehicle which is not "approved" in specific market. If you would bring a vehicle to dealer for "zero point calibration", the chances are they will either refuse to do, or only do it with original configured parts. You may know someone as a personal friend that willing to do it as a personal favor.

Just imagine, in today's reality, they did all the calibration, you drove off and involves an accident which was due to some fashion of ABS didn't work right, dealer and/or Lexus could be held responsible because they "contributed" an out of spec vehicle which has not been proved to sell in this market.

No... you need to use Techstream or use the OBD method listed in the FAQ

Default Worked nicely

hot razor blade and delete unnecessary levers plus add the blank plates and good to go - probably end up putting some usbs light switches or audio inputs in the blanks!

This site makes picture uploads pretty easy actually.. they also allow for small attachments... I think things like PDFs are limited to around 5MB

Could anyone point me the thread# that discuss the zero point clear/reset using wire/SST? The pdf in #1 looks like indicated the clear of yaw/acc sensor using SST, connect/short pin 4&12 about 4+ times in 8 sec. Is this applicable to skid control/CC??

Besides, in the pdf, by using SST, only turn on CC switch(ON/OFF) and toggling switch(+/-) will do the zero point cal?

Thanks!

Thanks hzhao!

I following the instruction for zero point cal using SST wire. Before 4 times in 8s, the ABS and slip are off. After 4 times in 8s, I did see the slip light come on again and ABS is flashing as well. However, for CC cal, I follow the step and turn of the engine, the connect pin4 & pin12, once I push the CC switch, there was no CC light and no info of +/- in the display when I toggled +/- switch. I just curious if I do need to turn the engine to IG for SST wire approach? If not, why at end of the CC cal step k(turn of engine, again for SST if it was already turn off at 1st step in section b).
Anyway, once I remove pin4/pin8 and turn on the engine, I can see the CC light. When I push the CC button & +/- switch. I can see info in the display but slip off is flashing(in 4lo). So I think the CC part/cable is connected correctly but no CC cal. However, in normal 4hi, slip off light is on and 4lo is flashing. I can't turn them off even after re-do zero pt cal. I'm afraid if I missing some steps, or can anyone share the CC using SST?

BTW, anyone using min VCI type of techstream from ebay to do the zero pt cal & CC cal? Does 32/64-bits os matters?

Thanks!
