Default Finally! White on Ecru, ML

After talking to 20+ dealers and with help from some members in CL.
I locked in a 2014 white on ecru with ML (cargo mat, exhaust tip)

The price is not perfect, however, as long as my wife is happy, I'm ok with it.

Hope can get it before June then I'm gonna tint it 35% front and back. Fluid film it maybe.

One more question, it should come with Michelin Latitude, do you guys think I should switch to LTX ms2 right away? I care about noise level the most. Thanks!

Gosh, I'm so excited !

Congratulations! It will either come with Michelin Latitude Tour HP's or Bridgestone tires. Mine came with Bridgestone's and I had them swapped for Michelin LTX M/S2's. I can tell you, the Latitude Tours wear fast. I don't have noise with my LYX Michelins and they will last much longer and are better in the snow and ice. If your dealer will swap them out, I would go for the LTX Michelin tires. Do it before you take delivery, so they are more likely to make the trade. They just put my tires in the parts dept. to sell as new.

Congrats, you are going to tint the back with 35% on top of the factory tint? I always tint my front and am not familiar with "fluid film"

I was hoping that too, unfortunately, not yet.

I pay 1500 above invoice.

After talking to a tinting shop, I'm not sure whether I want to do it or not in Chicago.

Chicago have a "home rule" that no tinting on the front window. Which IL allows 35% front and back.
Sad.

P.S. Fluid film is a undercoating for rustproofing, I heard about it is pretty good, haven't used or tested on any my cars yet.

Thanks for the tips. I tried to mention this to my dealer, by quoting her "We don't have those tires in stock".

It's not really a no but I doubt they would do the swap. I will try again tomorrow.

Another vote for the swap to the LTX M/S2s. Ask the dealer service department, I'm sure they can get the tires from their supplier.

I had mine swap all 5 and I think it was around $350. I paid mount and balance and the alleged difference in tire price. I figured the LTX should last about twice as long as the Latitudes so it was a no-brainer.

I'd also tint the front windows at 35% I doubt you'll get hassled. Only in Illinois does a city make it's own rules that differ from the rest of the state. Congrats on the new ride.

That's not too bad and the best you can do in many markets. Enjoy the vehicle.
