I really like the updated look of the 2014 Gx but feel Lexus missed the mark on the factory wheels. I'm thinking about adding the F sport wheels from last years model to ours when we purchase.. Curious on what others think?

The problem with OEM wheels is the manufactures copy the current style that they think must be what the customers want, even when they actually look bad! For some reason most manufactures think that wheels with that flat hub cap look, with spokes, is what customers want (or maybe I’m missing something). It is funny when one manufactures changes from (let’s say) a single spoke to a double, within a model year all the other make the change. The current styles of wheels from just about all manufactures look like ****!
I didn't like the 2010-2013 wheels either, but I did like the wheels on my Limited 4Runner so I bought a set and put them on
these rims are outsourced by toyota and a few companies make them.
they suck imho.
apparently everyone is going to these split spoke designs.
personally, the 4runner 18 inch rims from 2007-2009 look the best and will fit the gx.

Whee! that was fun! This forum is a blast tell me more!
I appreciate the GX is a bit heavier but ultimately they are only half an inch thinner than the GX's OEM 18inch shopping cart casters and were just fine on my 4Runner
Big trucks need simple wheels. The 2014 Premium wheels are too complicated....and whack. I would prefer the base model's rims. Oh well, I'll just keep them. First-world problems.

Are you sure the wheels are different ?? I believe that the only difference is the finish.
Mine are chrome on my 2010 and they sent my wheels out for chrome plating on my 2014 yesterday. My vehicle is on a lift at the dealer without wheels...
