I really haven't been able to find anything definitive on this: Daystar 2.5" spacer kit for an '11 Premium... I want to keep airbags for towing... is there a spacer to use with the airbag setup? I have seen the 2.5" for the front, but the rear is where I still have questions. I have seen where I can do the rear "trick" for the system to make it automatically higher--but can't tell if, once you trick it into a higher lift, does it still have the ability to regulate height with a trailer and/or lift further? Like, once I add washers to the sensors to trick it into higher mode, N=High... Lo would be the old "N" ... would the new "Hi" = a higher-than-previous-high "Hi" mode?

@JALinker Did you ever figure this out? I have the air system as well, and i'm not sure whether you can use the Daystar spacers in the rear. Also, I think that even in "hi" mode, you're not going to be level if you have a 2.5" spacer in the rear because the air suspension only lifts you an inch and a half or so.
Anyone else have an answer to this?

Rear Spacers WITH Airbags
I haven't found a thing... I am still interested in this--I thought the uptake on the idea might have been better... Have you found anything?

I really like having the adjustability in the rear--enough so that it has kept me from lifting at all--function over form, I guess...

I believe a person can just use washers instead of a separate spacer. But don't quote me on this.

Please don't flame me for this, but are there any suspension upgrades out there without a lift or a minimal lift? It's my wife's GX that doesn't see off road, but I'm looking for something better than stock. I haven't found any replacement shocks for it without a lift and new springs. The smallest one I've seen is 1.5" front and 2" rear Dobsons.

Will shocks for a Prado 150 work? Bilstein offers 4600s for the Prado 150 that I would have to buy from Australia or something. I'd be hesitant to use anything that works with a 4Runner because that thing weighs about 600lbs less than the GX. I'd disappointed there are no Bilstein 4600 or 5100 options for the GX.

I added 6112s and 5160s to my Tundra with the smallest lift (0.75") and love them.

you should be able to get similar for the GX. check out 5th GEN 4Runner Part #'s since they are the same as GX

Thank you. I guess as long as it uses the stock springs, we should be good to go. You have to say it's a 5th Gen Base or TRD Off-Road on Bilstein's website as the Limited won't work I guess because of X-REAS.

I also found this: https://www.pradopoint.com.au/forum/...sion-Database=

It lists the 5100s from the 5th Gen T4R as compatible, so I may go that route as I have had 5100s in the past and liked them for on-road use.

All of you guys' lifted GX's look bad @$$ though, but the wife would kill me. At least I have my Tundra lol.

I just ordered a 1.5" Dobinson IMS kit. I didn't really want a lift--only upgrade the shocks, but haven't found any just straight shock replacements. I do plan on putting the vehicle into KDSS test mode.

It said on the Dobinson website that 1.5" would not require new UCAs. The general consensus is 2.5"+. Is that correct?

BFG KM3 315 70R17s(wanted 35s but was out of stock everywhere when I bought them)

almost done with the build, but finally ready to go off-road. Got some time off in February, but with shelter in place in California we will just have to wait to test her out cause I live far from any trail. But for now here is how she looks in my driveway. Only issue I have is the AFS light due to swapping upper links to total chaos upper links. They don’t make an upper link to work with our ride height sensors on the premium models with airbags. Trying to fix the issue soon, but only info I’ve found so far is to zip tie the link somehow in a level position. I have some ideas on how to fix the issue. If I figure it out I’ll report back.

I have the OME BP-51s with 3" lift, I also plan on moving to 33's once my current KO2s wear out.
Question. I will be replacing the brakes soon and I want to go with braided brake lines, does anyone know of a good brand and should I get longer ones to accommodate for the lift?
