Remote (FOB) battery – Lithium CR1632, The remote can be opened by the tip of the mechanical key. There is a slot inside the area after removing the key. Simply insert the tip of the key and twist the key.
If remote is dead you can use the mechanical key to lock/unlock the doors and to raise/lower the windows and open/close the sun roof.
There is a switch located on the door jam of the rear doors to disable the door locks to protect children from opening the rear doors.
There are locks on the barn door and back window struts to lock them open.
The auto-away driver’s seat can be adjusted in the customization section/mode of personalization settings.
All the memory settings for each presets (1 -2) can be linked to each remote. When the door is opened with the remote, those memory settings will be applied.
When side mirrors are covered with ice do not operate or scrap, use the mirror heaters and/or de-icer.
The sun roof will open further with a second push on the open button.
The sun roof’s rear tilt is variable by a momentary push of the button.
The fuel door can be opened manually from a panel in the cargo area.
Deactivate the side curtain airbags when off-roading (RSCA off switch).
The front occupant sensor disables/enables the front, side seat, front passenger curtain, knee air bags and seat belt.
When the rear rotor and/or emergency brake shoe is replaced the combo needs to be bedded-in.
When “S” mode (on trans) is selected it can select 4 or 5 gear (default) depending on your speed.
Running wipers on a dry windshield (or rear glass) can damage the glass.
The hi setting on the rear air susp (if equipped) will default to the normal setting at 18 mph and 7 mph when set at low setting. Turn rear air susp off when lifting the vehicle (such as when changing a flat). If rear air susp is turn off in low the system will turn back on (automatically) and lift to the normal setting.
Never use liquid flat fix-it.
VSC is disabled when 4low is enabled.
Crawl control only works when 4low is enabled and only can be enabled in drive or reverse (not park or neutral).
The torque setting for lug nuts is 83 ft lbs. Never put grease on the lugs.
