Drivers Window
My drivers window seems to make a sort of buffeting sound at speeds at or over 40 miles an hour - all windows are closed. If I press on the window at those speeds with my finger the sound stops. I tried jamming some small cut up pieces of weather stripping from Home Depot into the window molding as a way to try to apply some extra pressure on the window but that didn't really work. Any suggestions? If there isn't an easy DYI (and I mean EASY - I am not pulling the door card) - where would be a good place to get it sorted? A auto glass shop, autobody, dealer etc. Most people woulndt really notice of be bothered, but it drives me a little crazy.
Our has done this since we bought it in 2019. I've tried numerous things and nothing has worked . I just consider it a quirk of the vehicle. It's only really noticeable at high vehicle speed and significant crosswinds that I've noticed on ours
opening the sunroof makes it go away now that's just bizarre. I would think that the noise coming in to the sunroof would be more annoying than a window rattling. Are you sure that that window is totally up and pressing into its frame? If not there's a process for resetting your window . I believe all you do is hold on the down button till it goes all the way down and then hold it for 4 seconds then push the up button and hold it there while it's totally closed for 4 seconds do that a couple times and it's supposed to reset the limits
