Default Check Headlight System

Hi all, recently replaced the headlight assembly in a 2014 IS350 F sport (LED style) due to the known crack in the plastic issue which caused condensation in the headlight.

Installed an aftermarket part and confirmed that all lights work as should but getting the "Check Headlight System" message on the display. Is there a way to reset this light? Also, would this be coming on due to installing an aftermarket headlight assembly and not OEM? No clue why it would be coming on since I've never seen this message before and the new light is functioning as it should.

Thanks in advance.

The LED headlights is probably not drawing as much current as HID system and or led turns versus incandescent bulbs. You will need a inline resistor, check with the manufacturer of your headlights regarding this.

Thanks for replying, the OEM lights are LED and so is the aftermarket one that I installed so not sure what that would have to do with an HID system?

Probably cause it doesn't recognize the original headlamp assy. Should try and get Techstream to see what is going on.. may also have to initialize the new headlamps.
