I am trying to tap my radar detector to my rear view mirror and wondering can anyone tell me which wires? Thanks in advance.

Not sure your model year of GX, depends on your mirror connector, the pin#1 & 2 is what you need. 1 is for power and 2 is for ground. In common Toyota flashing, ground is the black wire, and power is the white or white/black wire. Here is a photo of my 2014 GX mirror tap (not a best pic, but get you some idea).

 

Here is what I got to tap my dashcam to the rear view. Plug n play

 

I have 2016 and I was able to tap into black for ground and blue for positive. Thanks for all inputs
