Default Rear View Mirror Position (inside cabin)

Tried various strings to search for an existing topic...(no luck).

I have a 2013 IS 250.

When I look the rear view mirrort, I can see out the back beautifully; however, it has created a blind spot when I look to my forward right (I have to duck my head down a bit, to see under the mirror on tight curves or when merging). I am 5'10" so i been wondering if my height just puts my eyes in the wrong place lol It swivels on its ball swivel, but that isn't what I am referring to as far as re-positioning the rear view mirror.

Can the position of the rear view mirror be moved vertically (like say, does it telescope or slide up?

I know i should read the manual, but just remembered to ask this question now.

If my question isn't specific, let me know.

Thanks.
