Hi, I'm trying to find the wheel offset of my oem wheels. Looking at the back of the wheels I can see these markings: "25 BRM" "19x7 1/2J" "22/3" "J DOT". Only the "19x7 1/2" makes sense - I don't understand what the rest mean. I believe I need to find something with ET, right? Am I looking at the wrong place? Thank you!
From my understanding, the 2022 GX has either 18x7.5 or 19x8 wheels...both with +25 ET (offset).
+25mm is correct, at least for the stock Premium wheels. If your wheels are off the vehicle, and tires off the wheels, it's easy to measure yourself (all dimensions are in mm):
Measure the overall wheel width. Should be 220mm.
Divide overall wheel width by 2 to get distance to wheel center. So, 110mm.
Measure the backspacing: With the wheel lying on its side, inside of the wheel facing up, lay a straightedge across the top of the wheel. Place the end of your ruler on the flat mounting pad (where the wheel mounts to the hub) and measure from there up to the bottom of the straightedge. Should be 135mm.
To get the offset, subtract the distance to wheel center from the backspacing: 135mm - 110mm = +25mm. Notice this is a positive offset because when the wheel is upright and mounted, the mounting pad is towards the outside of the vehicle with respect to the wheel centerline. If the mounting pad was towards the inside of the vehicle with respect the wheel centerline, it'd be a negative offset.
