Default OEM wheel specs

this is for oem 18 wheels rwd

im pretty sure front is 18x8 and rear is 18x8.5? anyone know the offsets on these?

also, the x8 is in inches or what? what would each whole number increment be translated in offset?
for example if oem is 18x8 and aftermarket is 18x9 what is this extra width in mm offset? hope this made sense

Stock is 18x8.0 +45mm front and 18x8.5 +50mm rear. Size is in inches, offset is in mm.

Offset and width are independent figures for the most part. Width is how wide the wheel is and offset is how the wheel will fit (inwards/outwards). They are both important but play different roles. Offset is measured from the centreline of the wheel.

An 18x9 with a +45mm offset will stick out 0.5" from stock and also stick in 0.5" from stock. It is wider but centered in the exact same spot. An 18x9 with a +57mm offset will have the outer lip in the same place as stock, but will be an inch wider on the inside. Likewise an 18x9 with a +32mm offset will stick out an inch from stock.

oh okay this is starting to make more sense i guess i had the idea of offset wrong. so concave wheels will typically have a more negative offset is that right? and then wheel spacers would decrease offset ?

im looking at a set of wheels 18x8.5 +35 front and 18x9.5 +40 rear. would this be an aggressive set up and would it need any fender mods to you knowledge, im lowered on eibach pro kit

thanks jeff, really appreciate it

What ever you do on your AWD ensure tyre diameters are the same when choosing aspect and width.
Plenty of comparison charts on the web.
