Default 07 GX 470 mirror control when in reverse

I usually because mine was missing up a bit. My passenger side mirror when I put in reverse angles down adequately but my driver's side barely angles down? Searched forum and web and really couldn't find anything on it? Anyway to adjust the angle in reverse, I couldn't find anything in my manual at all either. I have it turned off now because it's virtually useless with the driver's side barely even angling down. Thanks in advance!

make sure the left and right light is off on the mirror button and then the mirrors wont tilt when in reverse. If you have either left or right selected, the mirror will tilt in reverse.

I have not tried this, and it's just a theory, but try it and let us know:

With the mirror selector switch in the left position, put the car in reverse, and wait for the mirror to move. Then adjust the mirror position with the 4-way. Take the car out of reverse, wait for the mirror to return (see if it goes back to the normal driving position). Then put the car in reverse again and see if it goes back to the position you set before.
