My OEM air bags were swapped for coils by the previous owner.
I saw a video showing some guy who put ARB/OME BP-51 on his GX. They are probably too pricey for me to go for it but I send ARB/OME a message asking why the don't list GX's as models that they have shocks for They said they don't offer anything for the GX. But, on their site, they do list the same generation of 4-runner. Are the shocks not completely compatible between these two?

Overseas they would know the GX470 as a Prado 120 series, you'll likely find a listing for it that way.
4Runners were a North America market mainly model, so you might not find much listed for that either, they were called Hilux Surf's in other parts of the world.
Do you know what rear springs you're running? If there's a lift and stiffer springrate, that would change the shocks I'd recommend for you.
I know the springs are Arnott. I went to check spelling and was going to say that I didn't know which Arnott spring but it seems that they only list one spring.
I am away from the GX now but should be near it this weekend.

That should be a no-lift, close to stock spring rate spring your running. Anything that would a stock replacement should do the trick, from stock 4th gen 4Runner Tokico's to mild upgrades like the Bilstein's.

Air bag rate is not really gonna map to a non-progressive spring.
Sure, but it's also not going to ride nicely with a stiff shock for aftermarket spring rates.
No argument here. The bil 5100 has been used a lot for this vehicle, it should not be too stiff.
KYB has some stuff that should also work.
There are some that are "OEM" replacements, to keep OEM adjustability. If these are full CO's then it makes it an easy install, but the description says "strut", which of course they are not struts, they are standard CO's, just not sure they come with springs, etc. https://www.ebay.com/itm/14460692197...MAAOSwIIxirDuO
