Default Brakes

I have an 04 in silver. (After wrecking a gold 03 model. Took a deer on a 2 lane blacktop.) Looking for a kit, if one exists, to use the front 4 piston calipers out back. Already found a nice looking 6 piston upgrade, with a 345mm rotor, for the front, so I wouldn't have to buy the oem calipers seperately.

Default Brakes, 2.0

To clarify, I want the brackets to adapt the rear axle to use the front calipers also.

You are looking at a big job their... with custom fabrication work.... I’m not even sure the fluid reservoir will hold the amount of brake fluid needed for 6 piston fronts and 4 piston rear fixed calipers.

Anything is possible. But this job just seems like it’s way more work than it’s worth. Just my opinion though.

Wouldn't the 150's brakes (F/R) be a decent upgrade without going above and beyond what you want to accomplish? Especially because you will always use 80% or so of the Front brakes, in any given situation. Because laws of Physics.

This will change the front/rear braking bias. You really don't want the rears having more braking force than the front (ask any motorcyclist)

Yeah, at that point, no awd/4wd will save you.

Chip H.

Exactly... this could actually cause a safety issue.
