Hey Cap, try setting a route and deviate from it .. and see how long it takes for your system to recalculate ... or persist for the next 10 miles to make u-turns.

It must include some firmware updates. So much for trying the update. And yes, the fact it does will continue to request u-turns a LONG time before recalculating a new route gets very annoying. BTW, I just purchased a new RX350 with the Gen5 Nav system, which I considered a must. I haven't used it much yet, but so far it seems just a bit slower then the one in my GX. Even updating the street I am traveling on seems to take a fraction of a second longer. I'll have to see how it handles rerouting when you pass a turn - I've generally been happy with how the GX gen 4 handles it.
