Default Discount Code for 2005 Navigation Update

Does anyone know if there is a discount code for the 05 update as there was for the 04 update? If so, what is the code?

Thanks for the reply.
Will the upgrade remove existing marked points?

Just placed an order with lexus-parts. Cost came to $259 with the discount (thanks, Cap). How easy is the install of this upgrade ? Hope this can be done as a DIY....

There is a link at the Lexus Parts website:

http://www.lexus-parts.com/nav_install.pdf

It appears to be very easy for the GX. Move the passenger seat forward, undo a couple of screws, eject the DVD and insert the new one. I believe you follow the same install as the LX470, since it is under the passenger seat.
I am not sure if the new software erases the set points you already have. But, i would think that it would not. If in doubt, write down the addresses you want to keep.

Thanks!

Place one in your shopping cart and on the next screen there is a box for the code. Enter it and press recalculate and it will give you the new price.

Thanks.... Frigging easy install for my LX. I must have missed this PDF on the lexus-parts site, but once it gets here, I'll be doing the install myself.

Hmmmmmmm. I called my local dealer (Lexus of Sacramento) just to see how much they were charging for the nav update dvd. To my surprise, they were cheaper...by about $15 or so. Add in tax and I will be paying $2 more than online + shipping, but what the hell...might as well support the local guy. lol

When is the new disk coming out? I thought I saw sometime early this year, but I don't remember where.

Just did this over the weekend, there were no screws on my 2005 gx built in april 2005. piece of cake, just press two tabs and the plastic face plate drops off to reveal the DVD slot. No waypoints lost or any other changes.
