I have had this problem on the driver's side door for awhile and eventually just turned off the feature. I would go to the dealer to fix it but didn't want them to take off the whole door panel since it would probably not be put back as clean as original. For those who have had this fixed, did the dealer do a good job of fixing it?

I too have the same problem on the passager side mirror, I just turn it off. I don't really like that tilting feature since I use the side mirrors to check my view when I am backing up.

Kash, Bob, Kook,

After the Dealer replaced the mirror and the fixed this issue, did it come back? We're they able to tell you why this happened? Is there anything you could have done to prevent this from happening again? How was the fit/finish of the installation?

Thanks in advance,

-Alex
