Default P430 Code

Hello all, I put a resonated Apexi mid pipe on my F about 6 weeks ago. Everything was going great and the car threw the P430 code yesterday. Where do you guy recommend I start? The O2 Sensor or somewhere else. Thanks in advance.

you need to ensure that there are no exhaust leaks in the exhaust joints, which will give you the P430 code if there is. need to check the gaskets on the exhaust and ensure they are well sealed and tight. also, you might want to check the o2 sensors, but i doubt it they are the culprits. good luck.

Check the flange connection between your xpipe and the headers.
Your installer may have slipped up or re-used an aged gasket to mate the two back again.

Myself and a friend put it on. He has a full lift so I know everything is tight and know that we used the new gaskets.

Make sure your o2 bungs have no pinholes where it's welded to the pipe. A small pinhole there will trip a code for sure. You should be able to see a hint of carbon of there is a pinhole. My rr racing midpipe needed to be re-welded due to pinholes around the bung. No more cel's after.

What causes pinholes around the bungs?
