Default Replace stock exhaust tips

Has anyone successfully replaced the stock exhaust tips with something a little bigger/longer? I find the stock tips are too far tucked and I don't like how they look. I do want to keep the stock exhaust I would just like to improve the look a little bit. Has anyone removed the stock tips and replaced them with something else, how do you remove them and what size replacements would I need?

The stock tips are a slip/friction fit. They are removed (according to TIS) with a plastic faced hammer. Basically just tap on the edge near the muffler and drive the tip off the end of the pipe connected to the muffler.

Not sure if there are any same size (inside diameter) tips out there, but no doubt you can find something with a clamp that should work. Also, Lexus says this is a non-reusable part, so removing it and expecting it to stay in place if you put it back on might be an unrealistic expectation.

The stock tips are oval, be careful if you decide to clamp on larger diameter tips, they might touch each other as the distance between the pipes from the mufflers may be too close for larger diameter tips.

You might find these pictures useful. I took them when I was contemplating doing the same thing.

At the end, I ended up opting to replace my mufflers with an aftermarket round tipped ones ( Tanabe )

Which exhaust is this and how does the sound compare to stock? I really like the greddy but have heard it makes a weird howling sound at wide open throttle

Check out my Youtube channel, plenty of GSF content there you might find useful.
I also went for the Greddy mufflers and removed them immediately. Howling noise and power reduction.
