Do All 4GS Models Use The Exact Same Front Caliper?
A quick anecdote has me thinking this. On my last car I did a custom install of an 8 piston AMG caliper with a 15.4" rotor. On the mid-2000's AMG setups, the V8 vehicles use a 360mm (14.1") rotor and the v12 vehicles use a 390mm (15.4") rotor. Both use the same caliper but there is a mild difference on the caliper mounting bracket which pushes the caliper outboard a bit to accommodate the larger rotor.

Also the inner diameter of the f-sport rotor being larger so the rotor/pad contact area width is about the same, using the same exact size pads.
From what I can determine:
There is only one set (LH & RH) of brake calipers used for all GS 350 RWD models (F-Sport & non-F-Sport).
The brake calipers themselves only have one set of mounting holes.
The brake calipers are mounted directly to the steering spindle knuckles. There is no separate mounting bracket/points for the caliper, or on the caliper, as you suggest.
There is only one set (LH & RH) of steering spindle knuckles for all GS 350 RWD models.
Do you have any [other] ideas on how the GS 350 RWD brake caliper setup can accommodate both a 13.1 inch brake rotor and a 14.0 inch brake rotor?
In the meantime the answer to the mystery (a.k.a. investigation) continues!
Lexus Part #47750-22460 LH Brake Caliper - 13.1 inch rotor
Lexus Part #47750-30560 LH Brake Caliper - ?
Lexus Part #47730-22460 RH Brake Caliper - 13.1 inch rotor
Lexus Part #47730-30560 RH Brake Caliper - ?
All the parts websites I have visited, looking for information, say that all four of the above brake calipers fit all models of the 4GS, both Base and F-Sport. I do not believe that is accurate!!!
.
.
.
Here is an example of what I keep seeing on the parts websites. The website says this brake caliper fits both the Base and F-Sport models.
I am beginning to think the brake calipers #44750-30560 & #47730-30560 are for the 14.0 inch rotor...and the websites saying these calipers are for both the Base and the F-Sport models are wrong.
Does anyone care to help confirm my belief?

The answer to the question 'Do All 4GS Models Use The Exact Same Front Caliper?' should not have been such a mystery, but sadly it was because of incorrect Lexus parts websites.

It makes me wonder how many people order parts from Lexus parts websites, using the VIN to assure the parts fit, and receive parts that do not fit the vehicle because of Lexus' sloppiness.
There seems to be confusion about the front calipers for the various GS 350 models, including the GS 450h. The confusion is whether the F-Sport RWD uses a different caliper than the other 4GS RWD models. Also, whether the Lexus marketing literature and website is correct that only the F-Sport RWD model uses 4-piston front calipers. The following information has been gathered in order to answer those questions!
Here is an ADVICS #47750-22460 OE Left Front 4-Piston Caliper off a GS 350 for reference
From what I can determine from ADVICS (brand name) Original Equipment Lexus Front Brake Calipers - these two (Left & Right) caliper part numbers are for all 4GS RWD models:
ADVICS A5L079 Lexus 47750-22460 Front Axle Left Caliper for: LEXUS GS (2011-) _L1_ - 3.5 350 GRL10_, GWL10_ [01.2012 - present]
ADVICS A5R079 Lexus 47730-22460 Front Axle Right Caliper for: LEXUS GS (2011-) _L1_ - 3.5 350 GRL10_, GWL10_ [01.2012 - present]
Note also that the 4GS front calipers are 4-piston calipers, not 2-piston calipers that we have seen on official Lexus literature, including the Lexus website.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The above front calipers are exactly the same for all RWD GS models. (Note: I believe the AWD models use a different front brake caliper that is required by the all-wheel drive system, but I am focusing more on the F-Sport RWD using 14 inch rotors versus the other RWD models using 13.1 inch rotors.)
The following five different GS models were used to obtain information about calipers for 4GS RWD models. (Note: VIN numbers are for salvaged vehicles or vehicles currently for sale):
VIN# JTHBE1BL9E5029285 - 2014 Lexus GS 350 F-Sport Pkg RWD
VIN# JTHCE1BL4E5021003 - 2014 Lexus GS 350 F-Sport Pkg AWD (I believe AWD models use a different front brake caliper that is required by the all-wheel drive system.)
VIN# JTHBE1BL0E5036318 - 2014 Lexus GS 350 Premium Pkg RWD
VIN# JTHCE1BL4E5020157 - 2014 Lexus GS 350 Premium Pkg AWD (I believe AWD models use a different front brake caliper that is required by the all-wheel drive system.)
VIN# JTHBS1BL8HA002129 - 2017 Lexus GS 450h F-Sport Pkg RWD
While the 4-piston front brake calipers are the same for all 4GS models with RWD the F-Sport RWD model appears to use a different Toyota brand brake pad that has a slightly different dimension of the composition material to accommodate the 0.45" larger surface area of the 14 inch rotor as compared to the 13.1 inch rotor.
Note: When looking at the Akebono and EBC application recommendation both company's websites list the same brake pad for all 4GS RWD models with no distinction for the F-Sport RWD with the larger 14 inch rotor. It remains to be seen whether this is accurate, or not. [/QUOTE]
Also it is compatible for 3GS too.
Even the codes in the pad "477-S19" "PV565H-FG" are still same.
Does anyone knw who I can interchange the part with ? Do the 2016/2017 IS 350 use the same calipers or even RWD non F sport GS 350? There are many for sale in the junkyard.
Definitely all 4GS models use the exact same front caliper or not? I have 2013 Gs450h Luxury and my rotors are 14 inch. (I assume the previous owner would replace the brakes with the F-sport ones.).....
Textar pads references are: TEXTAR 2032501 for non sports models and TEXTAR 2496501 for Sport models.....
TEXTAR 2032501 heigh is 77,3 and TEXTAR 2496501 is 78,5......
And here my car with Jurid Rotors 562949JC-1 rotor(Jurid says that 562949JC-1 rotor is compatible with LEXUS (43512-30371), but Jurid 562949JC-1 is 13,1 inch and Lexus 43512-30371 is 14 inch, which makes me think that the sport version (14" rotor) could have the same caliper as the non-sport version (13.1" Rotor)....
And here my 14" Rotors:
My mechanic told me that he didn't mount the rotor for me because being 13.1" it wasn't compatible with my car (14"), but if the caliper of the 14" sport models is the same as that of the 13.1" non-sport models then maybe he could install it, right?
And here my 14" Rotors:
